We are delighted to be working with our Spalding based client who are looking to recruit a full time permanent Electrical & Mechanical Fitter to join their friendly established team.     This is a great opportunity to join a small expanding, established local business on a full time permanent basis.   Working Mon – Thurs 7.30 to 4pm and Friday 7.30 to 3pm.

As an Electrical & Mechanical Fitter you will be expected to carry out a range of engineering tasks, including installation and commissioning, service and repairs on a range of engineering equipment.   This role will be workshop based and also visiting customer sites as required.

Duties

Day to day your role will involve but not limited to:-

• Service & Repair including wiring
• Installation and Commissioning
• Provide reports on works completed
• Deliver technical assistant to customers/clients as required
• Refurbishments/accident damage repair work on a range of equipment
• You will be required to attend breakdowns outside of stated working hours with overtime payments

Requirements

To be considered for this Electrical & Mechanical Fitter role you will  ideally be a time served Mechanical or Electrical Fitter and have experience of stripping mechanical assemblies and rebuilds

Electrical experience ideally within the control panel/motor sector

Full driving licence is essential

You will have a flexible working approach, and excellent communication skills

Working (39 hours per week) with overtime as required (paid at time and a half (Mon – Friday and double time for  weekends & Bank Holidays)
