CNC Setter Operator
Harrogate, £28k, opportunity to learn programming, varied work, training, and development

This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Operator or someone who has recently undertaken a mechanical engineering qualification to develop further skills in CNC programming. Working in a small engineering company you will produce small batch and one-off components for a range of industries working to precision tolerances.

As the CNC Setter Operator you will:
Work on a range of CNC lathes and milling machines
Work to drawings setting up machines and tooling
Produce precision components
Ensure products quality
Develop skills in programming

The Person:
Previous operating experience with CNC machines, wood machines or similar
Have experience of setting up tooling and basic machine maintenance
Be computer literate
Be keen to develop your skills further and learn programming
Be able to read basic engineering drawings
Have a can do attitude
We are very interested to hear from apprentice-trained machinists
