Job – Electrical Designer / Electrical Design Engineer
Boyd Recruitment are currently recruiting for a multi-disciplinary engineering design consultancy that operate across the petrochemical sector.
Our client has been in operation for over 30 years and specialise in fuel storage, distribution systems, tank farms and bulk fuel terminals.
Due to an increased work load they are looking to engage a Electrical Design Engineer or Electrical designer to their Glasgow office.
The Job
The role of Electrical design engineer/ Electrical designer will see a range of activities including:
- Site surveys
- Detail Design
- Layouts
- Hazardous Area Working
- Flow metering measurement
- SCADA
- Site supervision
The role will initially be for a 6-month period on a contract basis (out with IR35) with a potential permanent position if all parties agree.
The Person
You will have experience of working independently in a Engineering consultancy. All works are completed on AutoCAD, there is no need for 3D modelling capability.
You will be able to work full time in the office and have a valid UK drivers’ licence.
Start date will be ASAP pending successful interview.
