Are you a highly skilled/motivated CNC Programmer Setter who is looking to join our established team so they can continue with their worldwide success in the precision turned parts industry?

Annual Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 (DOE)
Weekly Hours: 7.30am to 4pm

Reporting to the Operations Director - the main purpose and key responsibilities duties would be: 
  • Working with a team and adapting your skill set, so that the newly acquired Multi spindle CNC machine tools are programmed and set efficiently so enabling optimum production and quality levels are always achieved.
  • If courses/training are identified, then this will be arranged
  • Programming setting on their standard machines 
  • Efficiency targeting and tooling improvement so that there is a continual improvement 'mind set' in place amongst the production team.
  • Work improvements on the Programming/setting and machining of Stainless steel on our current machines.
  • Inspection of finished components ensuring they are correct to specification drawings.
  • Read, interpret, and understand technical drawing details.
  • Resolve any issues or problems with the machines or escalate any issues that are unable to be rectified.
  • Use of all measuring equipment to establish correct fit and tolerance of machined parts to customer drawings.
  • You must be able and willing to be involved on training and development 
  • Senior management and the owners well understand, that they will have to improve their machine tooling capabilities to be at the fore front of new and existing markets, this will need you to help to identify and purchase the correct new machine tools for their needs.
