The Role
The responsibilities of the MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls, and Automation) Commissioning Engineer encompass a range of activities across various projects within the Waste Water Treatment Works. These tasks involve conducting site surveys, reviewing designs, managing procurement, overseeing site installations, conducting commissioning, performing inspections and tests, providing supervision, and facilitating handover. The aim is to ensure the safe and successful completion of projects within defined timelines, adhering to quality standards and commercial objectives.
Training & Experience
- Ideally minimum BTEC HNC Engineering (appropriate course content)
- BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- C+G Inspection and Test
- Experience / detailed knowledge of Water Industry Engineering and associated equipment.
Desirable Technical Knowledge
- PLC, SCADA/HMI and Profibus Networks
- Pump/Motor starters, Mainly Siemens and ABB
- Telemetry data systems
- LV Networks
- I.T Literate (MS Project, Word, Excel)
