Due to growth in large complex projects, our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their expanding project team. We're looking for a highly organized, self-disciplined, committed, and enthusiastic individual who thrives as an 'all-rounder'. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn on the job are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret project specifications.
- Identify engineering problems and develop cost-effective solutions.
- Make engineering design calculations and component selections.
- Produce system design documentation and drawings.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and purchasing.
- Collate Operation, Service, and Maintenance documentation.
- Support Project Managers and provide document control.
- Assist installation teams and support product development.
- Ensure compliance with standards.
Requirements:
- 2D AutoCAD Skills
- IT Literacy in Microsoft Office
- Desire to learn new skills and acquire product/system knowledge.
- Practical and logical approach to problem-solving
- Strong team player with initiative and a proactive approach
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Trustworthy and reliable
- 3D AutoCAD or Revit Experience (highly desirable)
- A Levels/NVQ/Degree in a technical subject
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications
