Fire Alarm Installation Engineer

This national fire alarm systems installer is looking to recruit an engineer to carry out Installation works on both new and existing fire detection and alarm systems across 2 large sites in Berkshire. Candidates for this position will be responsible for installing fire detection and alarm systems to BS 5839 and BAFE SP203-1, complying with company policies relating to H&S, security, environment, and technical compliance. Applicants will need to have an electrical qualification and a good understanding of all relevant standards, i.e. BS 5839, BS 7671, BS 6286 and BS 7273, with FIA certification, being a team player with excellent communication skills and a full driving licence.
This interesting site-based role comes with a basic salary of up to £38,000 plus £4,000 site allowance, overtime, a 9-day fortnight and an excellent benefits package that includes 25 days holiday, holiday buy scheme, pension, sick pay, industry-leading maternity/paternity scheme, health cash plan, plus more. All candidates will need to be security vetted, once completed an extra £2,400 is added to the salary p/a.
