Wentworth James FM  are recruiting for an Air-Conditioning, Ventilation & Refrigeration Engineer within London and the South East. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be expected to take full responsibility for the Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration maintenance across several sites in and around London, the South and the South East. The role will be mostly Reactive/Repair works but may occasionally (up to 10%) be Planned Maintenance works. You will be responsible for a team of engineers whilst still being hands on yourself.

LOCATION: Croydon and surrounding areas

SALARY: Upto £55,000 D.O.E

Job Role

• Carrying out Reactive and Emergency Callout works on Air Conditioning, Ventilation & Refrigeration equipment.
• Carrying out pre-planned repair works on Air Conditioning, Ventilation & Refrigeration equipment.
• Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure works are completed in a safe manner.
• Striving for a first-time fix approach.
• Ability to assist/manage other Engineers with technical issues if required.
• Upholding high company standards across all aspects of works.
• Understanding client requirements to ensure successful delivery of works.
• 1 in 4 Callout Rota.

The Candidate

• F-Gas City & Guilds 2079.
• Minimum of 3 years field experience.
• Knowledge of Split Air Conditioning Systems.
• Knowledge of VRV’s & VRF’s.
• Knowledge of Ventilation Systems (Kitchen Extract & Air Handling Units)
• Full UK Drivers licence.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good time keeping skills to ensure timely site arrival.
• A proactive and forward-thinking problem solver.
• Able to diagnose and repair faults on a variety of Air Conditioning, Ventilation and small (domestic) Refrigeration equipment.
• Capable of completing electronic documentation in a timely manner.
