Our client, a large Aerospace and Defence supplier is looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join them on a 6 month initial contract at their site in Southampton.

• Applicants must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years and be willing to undergo basic background checks.
• Fully onsite due to the nature of the role.
• £15 p/h PAYE, inside IR35.

This role is to ensure that all product delivered to our customers, meets the required standards outlined within our Quality Procedures.

You will be required to carry out a range of Manufacturing tasks using the site Process Work Instructions.

• The role includes being able to:
• Work in line with business processes and procedures, SAP, and local Inspection standard Operating processes
• Accurately perform the required Manufacturing Processes in line with the site Quality Procedures
• Control and Process all relevant Manufacturing & Quality documentation
• Support Perpetual inventory checks.
• Completion of All product types through the required processes
• Maintain inventory accuracy and batch traceability
• All training for the roles advised will be provided

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required

• You must be computer literate and be able to complete set tasks accurately & precisely.
• Neat and tidy work ethic in line with 5s principles
• Manually dexterous.
• Must be prepared to work as part of small, closely knit team who can work unsupervised to complete set tasks.
• Able to review and follow and carry out Quality Instructions
• Liaise with support functions to ensure customer deliveries are maintained at all times
• Be flexible and able to support a number of Process operations - these include cleanrooms (at Class 6 Standard) and Controlled Working Environments.
