Pertemps are looking for a talented Welder who is proficient in various welding techniques to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.

Pertemps are looking for a talented Welder who is proficient in various welding techniques to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.
The role
- Be able to read engineering drawings for parts that will be fabricated/ welded.
- Preform welding/ plating activities in the workshop and on-site.
- Have adequate relevant heavy plant experience in manufacturing for the construction, quarry, and recycling industry.
- Ensure production timings are met/ exceeded.
- Follow the companies’ rules and adhere to procedures and health & safety standards.
- Work as part of a team to produce orders on time and within customer expectation.
- Ensure correct marking up of all component parts.
Skills and Experience
- Hands on attitude
- Willing to work over-time and weekends when required.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Knowledge of welding equipment and tools
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- 3 years welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Driving license
- Forklift truck license (preferred)
- Safety passport (preferred)
