Our company, a leader in engineering and facilities management, is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Operative with a Legionella background to join our team.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will play a vital role in our on-site engineering team, handling daily tasks and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute tasks based on drawings and specifications with minimal supervision.
• Make informed decisions on appropriate repair solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide exceptional service to high-profile clients, promptly reporting any defects or issues.
• Ensure all Health and Safety documentation (RAMS) is in place before commencing tasks.
• Review and contribute to Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Record all tasks against the relevant assets via the PDA.
• Mentor apprentices as needed.
• Collaborate with end-users (Military), DIO, and other stakeholders when required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in mechanical plumbing.
• Recognized Legionella qualification or training.
• Strong record-keeping skills.
• Clean and valid UK driving license.
• Ability to travel to remote sites and drive a company van.
• Desirable: Experience in an MOD environment and familiarity with the local geography.

Clearance Requirement: Must be able to pass SC Clearance.
