Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (39 hours)

A Market Leading Manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Process Engineer. Working with this well-established brand you will be tasked to ensure effective operation of Manufacturing Processes under your control by ensuring process operating methods are clearly documented and maintained up to date, and also that these processes are continually delveoped and improved.

This business always have busy order books and work on various different projects within stable and secure markets.

Role & Responsibilities

* Ensure all remakes that have occured within your area, are fully investigated with initial finding including confirmation of containment report.
* All activities should be driven to improve Quality, Cost and Develiery (QCD)
* Full ownership of the designated manufacturing processes that fall within his/her area of Jurisdiction and will be accountable for ensuring quality, cost, delivery and Customer service levels are maintained.
* To support Lean processes including 5s and CI activities where necessary. Support and ensure compliance with company policies & approvals, procedures and any ongoing business initiatives.
* To initiate corrective and preventative actions, training plans and process improvements where necessary to ensure that the processes under your control operate at their optimum level.

Required Skills & Experience
* Experience of taking responsibility for Process Improvements
* Mechanical Engineering background
* Mechanical Engineering Qualification
* Experience working in a Similar role
* Ability to work within a Team Environment
