JOB: Business Development Engineer

ESSENTIAL: MUST SPEAK FRENCH FLUENTLY (ideally native speaker)

STATUS: Permanent

LOCATION: Harrogate, North Yorkshire

SALARY: 33k to 35k basic plus an Incentive Scheme offering an additional 38% on top of basic salary

My client is looking to recruit a permanent Business Development Engineer based at their site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

It is essential that you have a recognised qualification in an Engineering discipline - such as Mechanical Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Materials Engineering.

With a vibrant, engaging personality you will build relationships with the international distributors with whom you deal on a regular basis.  You will be their first point of contact, providing front line technical support to your assigned network of distributors and you will be visiting and advising these distributors.  You will be visiting their clients with them and you will be involved in training sessions.

It is important to know that this will very often involve overseas travel, regularly to France and French speaking countries in Africa.

You will offer training to distributors and keep them updated with product changes and developments.
