Mechanical Supervisor - Water Industry

Moving into project engineering

A specialist mechanical contractor is looking for a Mechanical Supervisor ready to take a step towards being a Mechanical Project Engineer to help deliver multiple projects on Southern and Thames Water.

If you are looking for your next move in the water and industrial sector, and have experience in water treatment and wastewater engineering, design, and site-based delivery, this opportunity is for you.  

Duties for Mechanical Supervisor:

• Work across multiple projects or one large scheme on the delivery of mechanical services in water 
• Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to by the site teams 
• Overseeing and reviewing RAMS 
• Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards
• Ensure the projects are running on time and budget 
• Be responsible for site inspections and progress reports 

Qualifications and experience for Mechanical Supervisor:

• SMSTS qualified for managing safely (will consider SSSTS)
• Ability to work to target dates across multiple projects, whilst maintaining output and timescale requirements 
• Water industry experience preferred
• Hold a valid full UK driving license 
• Eligible to work in the UK
