Over the last 2 years this iconic food manufactures in Uttoxeter has had millions of pounds of investment into the site!  Four new lines have been added from this investment and old favourite products have been relaunched which has been a huge production turnaround for the site.  Are you a Maintenance Engineer with previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG looking for a fresh challenge working with brand new technology and equipment?

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with strong PLC skills including modifications to existing software and adjust programmes.  You will be working on shit with the team supporting on breakdowns and PPM's with your technical knowledge looking for ways to improve projects and reduce downtime.  

The role as a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias:

• To provide technical support to the shift engineering team, reactive and proactive engineering work as required.
• Advise as shift expert in Electrical Engineering as and when required
• To own and maintain the preventative and planned maintenance schedules in line with KPI’s.
• To coordinate, plan and deliver training to engineers to assist with developing capability in the engineering team.
• This will be a role where no two days are the same, where your efforts will be recognised and will have an impact on the wider business.

To be successful in this Maintenance Engineer's role you will need:

• An electrical Engineering qualification, and a time served Apprenticeship with an electrical bias.
• Electrical systems and installation experience and training
• Experience of working with manufacturing machinery
• Background preferably in Food Manufacturing or FMCG.
• A strong background of working with PLC's including fault finding/rectification and programming ideally Allan Bradley or Omron.

   The package on offer in this Maintenance Engineers role:

• 4 on 4 off days and nights pattern
• 7am – 7pm
• Basic salary of £51,500 over time available
• Pension, holiday and staff discounts.
