Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights / 6-6 12 hour shifts)

Things we’d love to tell you about our Taw Valley

·Our Taw Valley Creamery is to receive £180 million investment across the next 3 years to become a state of the art cheese production site across our cheddar and mozzarella categories. One of the largest single UK investments for Arla Foods.

·We process approximately 1.2 million litres of milk daily; producing over 100t of award winning cheeses, such as BOB, Castello Tickler, alongside butter and whey powder

You’ll Spend Your Time

·Fault finding and troubleshooting across varied PLC controlled equipment - Fillers, Labelers, Packers, Conveyors systems, Chillers, Compressors and so on

·Driving PPM and servicing activities and other proactive maintenance strategies

·Projects; driving improvement projects and modifications

You’ll Will be working on
This will be working on equipment including; Milk pasteurisation, homogenizers, separators process systems, cheese vats, blenders, slicers, packers, weighers, flow wrappers, shrink wrappers, trolley packers. Palletisers, de-palletisers, conveyor lines (chain, spiral), robots, vision systems, spectrum TX rejection system, Xray checkers, industrial dryers, chillers, compressors. Original equipment manufacturers (Siemens, Krones, Tetra Pak, SPX flow, ISOMA, Hueft, Nepas, Alpla & Grunwald)

What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role

• Ideally will be Time Served/Apprentice trained or proven experience with fast paced manufacturing environment
• Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering within Manufacturing, Production and Process environments
• Ideally you will have experience with fast- moving machinery, pumps, valves, inverter drives, sensors, relays, PLC’s (Siemens), Site Services (steam generation plant, chilled water systems, compressors, processes), CIP systems (chemical cleaning plant)
• Computer literate – SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, HMI’S
