The Role: Our client, a global oilfield services business are looking to hire a number of Trainee Fabricators on initial 3-month PAYE contracts, with the view to becoming a permanent member of staff at the end of the probation & and training. 
 
Working Pattern:

Location: Plymouth 
Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour, annual equivalent of £23,795 per year 
Shifts: 40 hr work week / 4 Days Mon - Thu (7am - 5.30pm) / 30 min tolerance start and finish times 
Overtime Rates: 25% Fri / 50% Sat / 100% Sun (have to do Sat to qualify for Sun)
 
Not suitable for candidates who are allergic to fibreglass. 
 
Interview & tour slots: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10.00hrs.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work productively and safely in compliance with our systems of work
Maintain high levels of housekeeping
Minimise waste by using materials and consumable items efficiently
Fitting and assembly skills including the use of hand tools and marking out
Maintain good levels of workmanship and traceability
Measurement and inspection techniques using a variety of equipment
Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when required

Willing to learn to understand technical drawings, and apply technical information
Able to adeptly learn the context of a challenge and quickly integrate new skills
Able to identify and install improvements that are effective in achieving excellent quality, cost reduction and productivity improvements
Be quick to identify critical information and respond appropriately
Efficient at communicating through all levels of an organisation
Able to apportion time effectively to complete tasks
