An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team. My client are looking for somebody who is ready to develop into the next stage of their career ideally coming from an engineering background.

The ideal candidate will be able to excel in driving sales, as well as managing existing customer relationships to contribute to the overall success of the business.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
• Managing and interpreting Customer requirements
• Searching for new clients who could benefit from our products in a designated region.
• Travelling to visit existing and potential clients.
• Defining consumable product solutions to satisfy customer needs
• Presenting Customer quotations
• Offering after-sales support services
• Preparing reports
• Recording and maintaining client contact data.
• Supporting marketing initiatives
• Developing technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs.
• Developing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
• Liaising with other members of the sales team and the Engineering teams

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience within Sales, ideally from an Engineering background
• Excellent at providing customer service
• Ability to travel UK wide 2-4 days per month or to customer demand/requirements
• Ability to think for themselves
• Highly motivated to help achieve outstanding results
