We are currently recruiting for a permanent Mechanical Engineer and or Revit MEP/CAD Technician for a role based in Hull.

This is working for an established building services engineering consultancy that specialises in mechanical and electrical building services engineering and has projects in sectors such as Healthcare, Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and more.

Candidates should be local to Hull although some hybrid working would be possible and engineer grade, Intermediate or up to Senior with packages tailored accordingly.

The client is doing more and more BIM with some small in-house Revit capabilities that are looking to expand.

Duties Include (depending on grade)

  • Mechanical Building Services Design including HVAC Systems, Domestic Hot & Cold Water Systems, Above Ground Drainage, Medical Gases, and other similar services.
  • Produce engineering designs, calculations, and specifications, using appropriate software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, IES VE, MEP Worx
  • Production of technical drawings and check output
  • Prepare technical reports by clients’ briefs
  • Undertake site visits to monitor the progress of works against specification, and highlight issues to the contractor, client, and/or (internal or external) project manager as necessary
  • Delegate work to Technicians and/or Graduate Engineers as required, and provide feedback on completed work
  • Comply with project management, Operational (QA), Environmental and Health and Safety procedures
