As an Electrician with our client, your role will be to deliver high-quality electrical and building services engineering maintenance across various client properties within the designated region.

Your responsibilities will encompass electrical bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation tasks, ensuring that all work is conducted to the highest standards.

Job Description

The primary focus of your role will be to provide a world-class building services maintenance service to our clients.

This will include addressing immediate electrical issues and proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing preventative maintenance measures to enhance the overall reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.

Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in upholding the reputation of our maintenance services, contributing to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. Through your dedication and professionalism, you will help ensure that client properties remain safe, functional, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded
• Handle other types of building services maintenance including fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks
• Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work
• Ensure that all electrical equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria
• Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards
• Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction
• Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out
• Take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 OR NVQ 2356 / 2357 OR
• City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation OR
• AM1 and AM2 AND
• City & Guilds 18 th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2008)

In addition to the above mandatory requirements applicants who have served a recognised apprenticeship and have the following will be preferred:-

• City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing (2394/5)
• JIB Accredited
• IPAF / PASMA
• Full UK Driving License
