Assistant Planner

I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Planner to assist on the input of renewables projects for a fantastic SME developer with a pipeline of 4GW Solar, Hybrid Storage and Wind projects from inception to construction.
The primary focus of this position will be to project manage the development of renewable energy sites from site identification, through the consenting process working closely with the team and relevant stakeholders. The right candidate will assist the Lead Planner in all aspects of project development including: planning strategy, EIA screening requests, planning application preparation and post-permission matters.
Degree in Planning or similar Environmental discipline and UK driving license required. Renewables project development experience and working towards Chartered RTPI Membership highly beneficial.
The company are growing rapidly, comprised of land specialists, engineers, planning and development specialists. Their strategy is to develop greenfield projects, co-develop and acquire ready to build projects, innkeeping with their IPP model.
