Maintenance Engineer

Due to an internal promotion within the engineering team, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join this established team in the manufacturing industry, the business is based in Leicester.
You will use your mechanical and electrical skills to respond to breakdowns and perform planned maintenance on machinery such as industrial dryers, washers, folding machines and packaging machines.
To be successful in this role, you will have a proactive approach in return you will have the opportunity to undertake paid training courses and progress within the company.

The role of the Maintenance Engineer:
- Maintain plant and machinery to a high standard through PPM
- Troubleshoot and find ways to improve line performance.
- Carry out pre-shift maintenance checks.
- Carry out condition based maintenance to reduce downtime
- Providing effective handover
- Working on new installation projects
Skills and Qualifications required for this Maintenance Engineer role:
- Level 3 Engineering qualification, preferably electrical bias, but will look at Mechanical bias with strong electrical skills.
- C&G 18th edition desirable
- Experience in the Manufacturing industry would be advantageous.

- Basic salary of £39,000 - £42,000
- 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern
