Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Description
- Create comprehensive mechanical designs for electrical power applications and generate corresponding engineering documents, including drawings, calculations, and reports.
- Utilise prominent design software applications like SolidWorks and CAD/AutoCAD.
- Advance assigned small to medium engineering projects or collaborate on larger-scale projects within a team.
- Assist with project tasks encompassing all phases of the design process, including drafting, product testing, and relevant organisational duties.
- Develop full-scale design/project plans with associated drawings, documents, test certificates and OEM manuals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical Engineers, Project Engineers and Project Managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Experience working in a Mechanical Design role, preferably in a product development environment.
- Proven experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD/CAD.
- Creative thinker, capable of generating novel solutions to engineering challenges.
