Electrician
Hourly Rate – £16.32 per hour (plus benefits)
Hours – 47.5 hours per week, 7.00am to 5.00pm
Location Postcode – WF11 0AH
Based at Darrington Quarry, but covering the surrounding quarries, the position of Qualified Industrial Electrician is varied and exciting, with the opportunity to work on a wide range of equipment.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week Monday to Friday, however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?
- Carrying out effective planned maintenance.
- Carrying out remedial repairs following routine statutory electrical testing.
- Attending emergency breakdowns.
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
- Providing temporary fixes and permanent solutions to maintain operation.
What we’re looking for
- Trained to City & Guilds or ONC standard, ideally with a working knowledge of BS7671 18th edition.
- Conversant with the Electricity at Work Act.
- The ability to read electrical drawings.
- Familiarity with industrial mobile and fixed plant.
- A working knowledge of PLCs, inverters, drives and motor control circuits etc.
- The ability to diagnose and repair electrical problems.
- Experience across a wide variety of equipment.
