A leading Aviation organisation based in Crawley are expanding their Operations team. We are searching for an Operations Specialist who can help be the client liaison; representing the company. Our client handles the maintenance and repair of well-known airline aeroplanes. This roles function is to keep planes flying by ensuring efficient supply of aircraft components needed for repairs, this includes:

• Overseeing the supply of materials needed to complete urgent repairs
• Procurement and inventory management – locating stock or purchasing required components to get repairs completed urgently.
• Handling maintenance requests – raising these in a timely manner to ensure parts are planned, shipments are arranged and the timescales align with the customer’s expectations.
• Meeting the companies SLA’s in terms of turn-around times for repairs and maintenance.
• In the event of stock shortages you will assist in sourcing stock from alternative sources including exchanges with other companies or ordering stock well in advance to ensure demand is met.
• Oversee the logistics and shipping timescales to ensure they align with repair schedules and keep all parties informed of delays.
• Ensure compliance with contractual agreements with regards to timescales and service levels.
• Finding new suppliers who can help us meet demands.
• Establish and maintain a high quality of service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Be in close relation with customer/be available to customer’s questions.

TWO Working patterns are available:

• This role is available on BOTH traditional Monday to Friday office hours AND an alternative Rotating Day / Night shift: 4-on-4-off rotation, Monday to Sunday, rotating 12 hour shifts, 1 week days then 1 week nights.

Package & Perks:

• Starting Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
• Additional £4,000 per-annum shift premium for 4-on-4-off shift workers (paid in monthly wages).
• Full time, permanent employment 40 hours per-week.

A broad knowledge and understanding of an Airline operating and business environment including Technical Services, Operations, Customer Services is advantageous.
