Machine Operative (Manufacturing/Production)
Ross-on-Wye
£26,143.96 + Pension + 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + 5% matched pension
Double days, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm rotating.
Machine Operative required for a specialised manufacturer of construction products. The employer has a new facility and is looking to build a new team from scratch.
The Successful Machine Operative will come from manufacturing or production background with experience as a machine operator.
The Machine Operative Role:
- Following company SOP’s and Health & Safety requirements.
- Work and communicate with other members of the team to ensure transfer of information with regard to your role.
- Communicate with Shift coordinators and Leaders to ensure they are aware of any issues in your designated area.
- Operating of production machinery.
- Ensure production data is recorded properly.
- Housekeeping of work areas.
- Ensure any production waste is discard in the correct manner.
The Successful Machine Operative:
- You will come from a hands on background, will be highly motivated and willing to learn new skills.
- Those with previous experience of working in a technical role, manufacturing or machine operating will be at a significant advantage
