Fitter / Welder

My client in the Tankersley area of Sheffield are looking for a Welder / Fitter.
Requirements of the Role:
· Be Proficient in both Mig and Arc welding techniques and the use of oxy propane flame cutting equipment
· Able to both fabricate and execute repairs to machinery, plant and equipment
· Have experience welding wear parts to construction / processing machinery
- Able to work as both part of a team and also individually as required
· Work in both a workshop and metal processing yard environments
· Be able to safely use hand and power tools safely and with awareness of surroundings
· To evaluate finished fix or job to ensure the quality is to company standard
· Carry out daily maintenance and inspection checks of equipment to ensure it safe
The successful candidate will:
· Have experience in welding and fabricating
· Be flexible with a can do attitude
· Willing to work in all environments
· A good knowledge of health and safety
Salary negotiable depending on experience
20 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday. Workplace pension.
