Our client provides maintenance support to some of the largest Gas and Water companies through out the UK.
Due to expansion, our client is now looking to appoint an Operations Manager with significant experience of working in the Water/Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in CAPEX and delivering Engineering & Mechanical Projects. As an Operations Manager, you will lead teams UK wide and be responsible for the delivery of planned maintenance and installations projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading a multi disciplined, skilled site based team
- Planning and executing projects for customers
- Writing and reviewing RAMS
- Ensuring that work is carried out in a safe and compliant manner
- Introducing new processes to improve the teams performance
- Supporting the MD in the growth and development of the Operations function within the business
Our client is looking for an Engineer with knowledge of the Utilities (Gas/Water sector). Experience in leading an operations function is essential. Qualifications within the industry would be desirable, expamples include NCO Water, NCO Gas, EUSR Water Hygiene, SHEA Water, Shea Gas.
This is an office based role which will require occasional travel.
