Salary/Rate:
£30,000 - £45,000/annum

Lift engineer required. Our client is a leading provider of lift installation, service and maintenance solutions and is looking to hire an experienced Lift Engineer to join their ever-growing team based in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will come from a lift maintenance background, have experience with lift installations, will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 and will based locally to Nottingham.

Manual driving license is essential for this position.



Lift Engineer Position Overview

  • Overseeing and managing on-site installations in a safe manor
  • Conducting technical site surveys for diagnosis and repair
  • Working alongside sub-contractors and ensuring the quality of their work
  • Managing controller and rewiring modernisation projects
  • Replacing door operators
  • Adapting and replacing lift drives
  • Assisting in the construction of control panels, top of car controls, car operating panels in our workshop
  • Provide regular status reports and essential administration
  • Travelling UK wide as required

Lift Engineer Position Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 or above (opportunity exists to obtain NVQ level 4)
  • Previous experience as a lift engineer essential
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Technically knowledgeable in the lift industry
  • Based within a commutable distance of Nottingham
  • Happy to work and stay away nationwide


Lift Engineer Position Remuneration

  • Salary £30,000 - £45,000 DOE
  • Company performance bonus
  • 32 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday
  • Company vehicle
  • Pension
