Electrical Inspector - Exeter

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to function effectively as part of a team, conducting Periodic Inspection and Testing of LV electrical installations in a manner that prioritises safety and minimises disruption to our client’s operations. Proficiency in navigating current electrical legislation, regulations, and standards is essential, alongside a proven track record of working in 24-hour operational environments.

The role of electrical inspector demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills. While advantageous, proficiency in IT tools is not mandatory, as training will be provided to ensure the production of clear, accurate, and concise reports. Candidates must be prepared to work anywhere within the UK, occasionally necessitating stays away from their home address.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Recognised completion of an electrical apprenticeship, with experience in Contracting, Maintenance, or Mining, supported by the relevant qualifications.
• Certification in IET, BS7671:2018, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Preferably, qualifications in C&G Inspection, Testing, and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391 – 2400), though not essential.
• Possession of a CSCS Safety passport or equivalent health and safety card.
