The COMPANY
Our client is an independent company who have carved themselves a niche supplying/designing powertrain components (exhausts, and other specialist Automotive components) to OE Automotive customers. Their reputation and expertise is such that many of the most prestigious manufactures utilise their services. We are proud to be an integral part of our client's continuing success which has resulted in a bulging order book and a recent expansion to a new purpose designed production facility. The company is proud to have received the Queens Award for Enterprise.
The ROLE
Due to continued expansion an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Automotive Production Engineer working on NPI (New Product Introduction) to become an integral part of our Client's team. The Automotive NPI Production Engineer responsibilities will include;
* SOP's - Standard Operating Procedures
* APQP - Advanced Product Quality Planning
* Tooling
* Factory Master - routes and operations for parts
* LEAN initiative and principles
The CANDIDATE
The right Automotive Production Engineer candidate will possess;
* Automotive Background
* Production Engineering experience
* A "can do attitude" with the desire and ability to contribute to the team
* Good relevant academic background in Mechanical Engineering
The Package
