Fire Detection/Life Safety Project Engineer

This large and independent Fire Alarm Systems installer are looking to recruit a dedicated site-based project engineer to join their team covering London and the Southeast, to assist the installation team with project delivery. The main element of the role is to provide site supervision, supervising other direct employees and subcontractors as well as evaluating their performance. Other responsibilities include collating update schedules, ordering supplies, scheduling work as needed, arranging labour and assisting with progress reports. Candidates will need knowledge of codes of practice and construction safety regulations, be able to interpret building plans and have excellent working knowledge of the installation, configuration and commissioning of fire, life safety and security systems. This exciting opportunity comes with a basic annual salary of up to £46,000 plus car allowance, bonus and benefits package.
