CNC Machinist

An automotive component manufacturer based in Wickford are looking for a CNC Setter Operator who can programme.
This role is working on the late shift, working 2pm till 10.15pm Monday to Friday.
The hourly rate is up to £16ph plus a x1.2 shift allowance taking it to £19.20ph.
CNC Setter Programmer duties:-
- Set and run CNC Machines
- Occasionally program on machine for modifications
- Loading of CNC programs
- De-burr components
- Running and checking 1st off and random batch inspection
- Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings
- Work from engineering drawings
For this role you will ideally have knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain controls. You will have experience to set 3 axis and 4 axis machines whilst also being able to make minor edits and adjustments to the CNC program via the machine controls.
This role is going to be a temporary ongoing assignment with a good chance of going permanent should you get on well.
