System Integration Technician

RSE use Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) as their Common Data Environment (CDE) during the design and delivery of our projects. ACC Connect training will be provided to the right candidate. Our Building Information Modelling (BIM) team are looking for a System Integration Technician to join our Inverness office.

What Are We Looking For:

As part of the RSE BIM team you will be working alongside experienced BIM members who will offer guidance and support for the integration of ACC with other inhouse design and business software. This is a good opportunity to work with multi discipline design and delivery teams on technically complex and challenging projects.

Some of Your Key Duties include:

  • Utilise ACC Connect to create automation within ACC. 
  • Liaise with internal IT team to create automation with other RSE platforms. 
  • Generate Dynamo scripts to create automation within and across Autodesk products. 
  • Research and utilise other potential automations that can be used across all platforms and projects. Including Application Programming Interface (API’s) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Liaise with third parties when custom APIs are required. 
  • Produce PowerBI Templates.
  • Producing ‘How to Guides’.

What Do You Need:

  • Qualified to HNC level would be advantageous.
  • Have the technical ability and enthusiasm to learn ACC Connect and Dynamo.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Excel Macros would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of coding languages would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Revit or other CAD software would be highly advantageous.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
