Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing business located in the Wolverhampton area currently looking for a Software Engineer to join their software team.

The right candidate must have experience working within the engineering sector and have some hardware knowledge or mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities – Software Engineer

• Working within the software team working on the programming of test equipment team
• Programming industrial machines
• Working on test equipment systems as part of a team
• This role is an onsite based position and you will be required to be on site every day
• Development of code to perform closer data acquisition for data analysis
• Supporting the Test Equipment Manager with software used on the test equipment’s creating updates as well as modifying code
• Support route cause of investigations into quality systems software
• Participate in internal and external quality audits

Qualifications & Requirements – Software Engineer

• Python or C++ embedded experience is essential
• You must have experience working within the engineering sector
• Degree or Apprentice educated in software or electronics is essential
• Qualified Electronics Engineer or Technician
• Minimum of two years industry experience
• Machine programming experience
