We have a role available for a maintenance fitter to work in Glossop.
This role is suited to candidates who are time-served maintenance/mechanical technician/fitters.
You will be working for a chemical manufacturing company and tasked with the mechanical repair and maintenance of various components.
Main duties for the Maintenance Technician:
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery per specifications.
- Repair components including pumps, motors, and valves.
- Conduct equipment overhauls.
- Adhere to safety protocols and collaborate with the maintenance and production teams.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and create/update SOPs.
Candidate Requirements for the Maintenance Technician:
The ideal candidate will be a time served maintenance fitter/mechanical fitter or maintenance Technician with experience in:
* Installation and repair of pumps.
* Steam boiler experience.
* Working on a chemical plant.
* Threaded pipework, valve replacement experience.
Hours & Pay for the Maintenance Technician:
- £36500 per year
- 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday
