£45,000pa + weighting and shift allowance + overtime

Are you a skilled technician with experience in heavy or light vehicle maintenance? Do you thrive in a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same? We are currently seeking a Ground Support Equipment Technician to join our team at Gatwick Airport.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment such as baggage tugs, fuel trucks, and aircraft stairs.
• Perform diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Complete scheduled inspections and adhere to maintenance schedules.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a technician, preferably in heavy or light vehicle maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work a 4 on 4 off schedule, including days and nights.
• Familiarity with airport ground support equipment is a plus.
