TEXO Drone Survey and Inspection Ltd (DSI), a leading provider of integrated drone-based survey and inspection services, are seeking an experienced UAS Pilot to join our team in Essex. Our innovative technologies and services are at the forefront of the industrial surveying industry, delivering solutions across multiple sectors including construction, oil and gas, and renewables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct aerial surveys using unmanned aerial systems.
• Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with CAA regulations and company SOPs.
• Perform pre-flight inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Manage and maintain flight operation logs and documentation.
• Work closely with the surveying team to interpret data and optimize survey results.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Requirements:

• CAA-approved UAS qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience piloting drones commercially, preferably in industrial or construction environments.
• Strong understanding of drone hardware and software technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel as needed for fieldwork.

Desirable:

• Experience with photogrammetry and thermal imaging.
• Knowledge of photogrammetry software and data analysis.
• Experience operating heavy lift platforms.
• Experience in reduced separation flying under OSC.
