We now have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Engineering Maintenance Supervisor to join our fast growing and highly successful team that specialises in postal/sortation systems.

The Engineering Maintenance Supervisor is the vocal point of the engineering team for the customer on all automation related topics. They provide a broad based electrical, mechanical, FM and software technical ability along with a right first-time mentality and a proactive approach to identifying ways to improve the site’s performance. You must have PLC Siemens TIA portal software experience. 

The Ideal candidate will be tasked to get motivate a team of engineers and make sure all PPM and reactive maintenance are complete on a wide range automated materials handling equipment such as conveyors, sortation and packaging machinery.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds in an engineering discipline
  • Previous experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment
  • Day 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 
  • must have PLC Siemens TIA portal software experience 
  • Experience of managing small teams on a customer site
  • Familiar with basic hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, Allen keys
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus
