A successful global manufacturing business supplying major OEMs across various industries is actively seeking a contract CMM Operator (Afternoons) to join its expanding team. This is a client that prides itself on its state-of-the-art machinery, and clean/friendly working environment, and just holds a general modern-day working ethos. The successful professional will earn a competitive hourly rate (IR35 friendly) and will have some flexibility on start/finishing times. CMM Operator duties include -

• Measurement of products using hands-held measuring equipment & CMM.
• When required, assist with editing and creation of new programs.
• Identify and report any repeating quality concerns.
• Report and document any quality defects.
• Keep systems well maintained and audited, to ensure that calibration plans are easily accessed.

We'd love to hear from you if you have the following -

• Experience working within a similar role (2-3 years of experience).
• Flexibility to work an afternoon shift (6 pm finish on a Friday)
• Able to operate CMM machinery (programs are written).
• Relevant mechanical engineering education (HNC/HND), or training.
