We are currently recruiting for a Solutions Engineer for our client based in Birmingham.
Our client, a globally recognised as the leading Ball Transfer Unit brand in the world, exporting to over 60 countries. For over 80 years, they have been designing and manufacturing innovative movement solutions for virtually every application imaginable.
Our clients ball Transfer Units can move heavy loads (up to 10 tonnes) smoothly, quickly, and safely. In any direction with little effort and great precision.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Solution Engineer to join their dynamic team.
As a Solution Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and customized solutions to existing and new clients. You'll collaborate closely with sales, design, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.
The role:
Solutions Engineer from either a conveyor, warehouse integration or air cargo provider background, who can work with our existing and new customers to identify and develop opportunities in these marketplaces.
Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their unique requirements and challenges.
Technical Solutions: Design and propose innovative solutions using our Ball Transfer Units to address client needs.
Project Management: Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
Technical Support: Provide post-sales support and troubleshoot any issues.
The Candidate:
The person we are looking for will have some technical knowledge/aptitude but also a strong sales focus. They'll be remote based, covering the UK and possibly Ireland.
Candidates with a presence and engineering experience in manufacturing, Logistics, Robot Automation, Pharmaceutical and Glass Manufacture would be preferred.

- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Strong understanding of material handling systems and conveyors.
- Familiarity with mechanical design principles.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Team Player: Collaborative mind set and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
