Small Works and Service Manager Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage financial aspects: Ensure adherence to budgets, review invoicing, contracts, and profit and loss monthly.
• Optimize service department efficiency: Coordinate personnel for site-specific issues, plan geographically efficient routing to maximize profitability.
• Monitor daily operations: Assess and adjust workloads, communicate with engineers to meet deadlines, and ensure accurate client communication.
• Facilitate administrative processes: Review engineer worksheets, ensure timely completion of remedial quotations, and oversee booking and implementation of remedial and small works.
• Foster professional relationships: Develop relationships with clients, collaborate with sales and operations leaders, and ensure compliance with audits and regulations.
• Performance manage all those employees directly under your control, using mentoring, discipline or training to ensure they perform efficiently and professionally.

Small Works and Service Manager Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience in Fire and Security Systems for an NSI/SSAIB & BAFE registered company
• Ability to create site specific RAM’s
• Well-versed in Fire, Access Control systems, Intruder Alarms and CCTV systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be computer literate, particularly MS Excel and Word
• Working experience of current fire and security standards
