Double Days, Monday to Friday
Circa £50,000 per annum
About the Client:
Our client is a leading company in the food manufacturing industry, renowned for their commitment to delivering high-quality products. They are currently seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their dynamic team in Cambridgeshire (CB21).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting planned maintenance activities to ensure the smooth running of production machinery.
- Promptly responding to breakdowns and performing effective repairs to minimise downtime.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and performance.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols and compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborating with other departments to optimise production processes and reduce waste.
- Providing technical support and guidance to production teams as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Working within a small, established team, covering breakdowns, planned maintenance, and implementing improvements.
- Having autonomy and budget to initiate improvements aimed at reducing downtime and enhancing productivity.
Requirements:
- Electrically qualified with a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in a manufacturing context.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Flexibility to work double days, Monday to Friday, as required.
