EPC Engineering Manager

A North London based Energy Client are on the lookout for an experienced EPC Engineering Manager to help on a 2 year Combined-Cycle Gas Turbine project.

This contract will be full time onsite for the 2 years and the contract will be Outside IR35.

A construction company who work on next generation energy plants for renewable energy across the world.

EPC Engineering Manager

As you will be coming in to be a senior member of the project, previous experience as an engineering manager for Oil & Gas projects is essential. You will also be managing a small team on engineers as well as working closely with the customer, so excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary.

Skills overview:

  • Minimum 10 years project-based engineering management experience, of which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position, as EPC engineering manager.
  • Completed at least two CCGT projects as engineering manager.
  • National/regional experience will be a distinct advantage.
  • Experienced in developing and implementing procedures and systems.
  • Strong communicator, self-assured, able to work independently.
  • Good knowledge of construction and erection work requirements.
  • A thorough understanding of the project cycle, the ability to prioritise activities and to drive it to completion and to anticipate pinch points.
  • Experienced in planning and executing project, construction and commissioning activities
  • Experience in industrial mechanical assembly (Minimum 5 years)
  • Experience in power plant construction ( Minimum 5 years )
