TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for an Mechanical Estimator for our client based in Milton Keynes, to support them on their commercial and industrial projects across the UK.

As an Mechanical estimator your duties will be but not limited to –

• Tendering projects,
• Provide accurate cost estimates and bids,
• Provide consultation on planning (schedules, manpower needs),
• Obtain and review offers and quotes (sub-contractors, materials),
• Building relationships with suppliers, Project Managers, sub-contractors etc.

The salary for this position is between £60,000 - £65,0000 depending on experience.

Working hours for this role are 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

This will be an office-based position, with a possibility of hybrid in the future.

Requirements for the role –

• Time served as an Estimator or similar position (minimum 5 years),
• Bsc/BA in Engineering or Construction Science,
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) qualification,
• Experienced in financial and project management principles,
• In depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas,
• Math and IT skills.

This is a permanent position with a benefits package which will be confirmed, including holiday and pension.
