Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. Your role will involve cost control, procurement, and contract administration. Duties:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze project requirements
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Perform cost analysis and value engineering exercises
- Prepare and submit progress reports to management
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify potential issues
- Resolve any contractual disputes or claims that may arise during the project

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and practices
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
