Job Description
Paisley Site Services are looking for a qualified QA/QC Manager to join a succesful team based in Redcar.
The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for maintaining the companies ISO 9001 accreditations as well as managing the overall quality control and quality assurance aspects of the companies operation.
The QA/QC Managers responsibilities will extend to cover sub-contractors fabrication work, on site steelwork and cladding works, client representation and the overall focal point for the company.
Applicants require a strong background in welding and fabrication, this includes welding inspection and documentation building of LTQR’S and review of packs with at least six years of experience.
Understand the issue and close out of NCR’s both internal and external, issue of NOI’s for client inspections at our fabrication facility.
The testing of welders and a sound understanding of NDT is required, also review of codes and standards.
Carry out audits at outside fabrication facilities (sub-contractors)
Understand and help guide the site teams on quality issues, be able to help and advise on the content of the site packs with clients and our site teams.
Applicants must have relevant experience in structural steelwork industry.
