Production Manager

Location: Stoke on Trent

Salary: Circa £45k - £50k  

Working Hours: Mon – Thursday 07.00am – 4.00pm

                                                Friday 07.00am – 1.30pm

A local uPVC Window and Door Manufacturer are now looking for a Production Manager to join their team.

Production Manager – Role Overview:

• Manage a team of 60 people including cell leaders and production supervisors
• Oversee the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products.
• Manage production schedules and workflows to ensure production targes are met.
• Lead and develop a skilled production team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet customer demands and maintain product standards.
• Implement cost-effective production strategies to meet budgetary goals.
• Develop and maintain production reports and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Production Manager – Person Requirements:

The ideal candidate MUST come from the Manufacturing Industry as a Production Manager.  You will also have the following skills, qualifications or experience:

• Ideally have some Lean / Continuous Improvement experience or qualifications such as SixSigma
• Proven experience in production management ideally from uPVC, Automotive, Aerospace or Plastics manufacturing industry.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
• A commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance.
