This is an excellent opportunity to join an international business with a great reputation locally. They are looking for an experienced Engineer who can work on developing and writing PLC programmes using S7 and TIA Portal applications, and would suit an engineer with experience in this discipline. This role is a days based role with an extremely secure business, who have posted excellent year on year profits.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Implementation and promotion of lean and continuous improvement activities throughout the company.
• Lead own assigned maintenance and improvement activities.
• Designing, developing and maintaining automated manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Compiling and helping with the writing of relevant documentation including risk assessments, production work instructions.

Requirements

• Electrical qualifications and apprenticeship.
• PLC programming skillset - Siemens S7 & TIA.
• Ability to read / write and understand engineering drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry.
