CNC Programmer
Job Role
Our client, a manufacturer of specialist products in Peterborough, currently has an immediate opportunity for a skilled CNC Programmer. The role offers an exciting opportunity to join a team who is currently experiencing a significant level of growth. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and a proven history of setting and operating CNC machines.
Job Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling and turning machinery
- Must take responsibility for own high-quality work
- Carry out routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
- Ability to work from technical Diagrams
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Person Specification
- Previous experience in CNC Machining
- Program, set and operate the machinery
- Knowledge of programming languages such as G-code or M-code is advantageous
- Follow health & safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Good attention to detail required
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings
Hours of Work and Pay
- 7.30 to 4pm (40 Hours per week)
- Up to £36k per annum DOE + overtime
